PRESIDENT’S REPORT FOR YEAR ENDING 28
august, 2004.
During the year 2003 – 2004 this Association has
continued to make steady progress, and much maintain this as we approach
the year 2006, when this Association will be hosts for the 2006 Nationals.

cages – deposits paid. |
|
(3) |
The completion of the show rules – to be implemented
on the 1 January, 2005. |
|
(4) |
The
efficient running of the Pre-selection |
|
(5) |
The selection of a very competitive show team for the Nationals that
were held at Coffs Harbour.
|
|
(6) |
The continual updating of the web site.
|
During the year the
Association had the opportunity to do some fundraising by catering, and
running a raffle at a number of auction that were held. As a result of
the funds that were raised, they helped put this Association in a much
better financial position then it had been in for some time.
I would like to take this
opportunity to thank my fellow executive officers, Bill for doing an
efficient job with maintaining the financial book of this Association, and
also for taking on the roll of secretary after the resignation of Wayne
Sheppard. I would like to thank Wayne for the job he did a secretary, and
it was disappointing to received his resignation as he was doing an
excellent job.
I would like to express my
gratitude to our show manager, Peter Lane for the excellent work he has
done during the year in the preparation for the pre-selection, housing of
the team at his place and then transporting them to Coffs Harbour, whilst
also organizing in the purchase and moving into a new home. There was a
lot of concern about Peter’s health, however he was able to show that he
was up to the task, and that his health is good. Again, thanks Peter for
a fantastic job.
I would also like to thank
my fellow committee members, and members of the fancy for their help and
support and encouragement throughout the past year.
I would also like to thank
Mark Jones for maintaining the Web Site. One must agree that it is a very
impressive, and up to date site.
There is still much to be
done in relation to the administration of this Association, and if we
continue along on the steady path as we are, these objectives will be
achieved.
Thanks
Dave Ganzer
